Hi! My name is Sara Eland, "Miss Sara", and I am excited to be a part of Academic Pathways. I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into our classroom. I have ten years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan - Dearborn, and also completed trainings through the Michigan 4C Association and Appelbaum Training Institute. Each year I continue my education through further early childhood trainings and conferences.

My philosophy for learning is that every child is a unique individual that is ready and capable of learning if given the appropriate guidance. One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside with them to maximize it. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively and learning though play.

My name is Sally Freed or "Miss Sally"!! I am Sara's Teacher's Assistant! I also have more than a decade of experience as a Early Childhood Educator!

I graduated with a bachelors degree in Child Development from Madonna University. I am married, I grew up here in Livonia and I live in Livonia! I am the Mother of four active children! I have been at home with my children for the past thirteen years and just recently came back to the "Preschool Scene"! I absolutely LOVE being a part of the Academic Pathways family! I know you will too! I am PASSIONATE about ALL children and the uniqueness in their personalities and learning styles!

Sara and I compliment each other wonderfully and we will provide your children with a fantastic preschool experience!
